I thought I left a comment here, but it must not have gone through. I once rode a bike like this around town. It was great fun being high up, and I enjoyed the attention. The downside was that such bikes don't have brakes, and, of course, it takes longer to put your foot on the ground. You accomplish the latter by stepping onto a little step and from there off the back of the bike.
