Adi in color
the photos in this series go gradualy brigher.
the color is all quirky because the film is expired, underexposed and under hot lights. I generally like the result. I want to shoot her more. Cant wait to get the mamiya.
The Leica m3 is done and will be shipped within a week so I need to start thinking about selling the canon 7 body - any takers?
INGMAR BERGMAN is dead at 89,may the gods rest his melancholic, northern soul.
MICHELANGELO ANTONIONI is dead at 94. same day.I just watched Blow Up recently and have the Passanger on my HD.

Autocord does Tel Aviv
A tribute to Eliot Erwitt
Bald Manequin at a hairdressers.
Глядя на лошадиные морды и лица людей,
на безбрежный живой поток, поднятый моей волей и мчащийся
в никуда по багровой закатной степи, я часто думаю:
где я в этом потоке?
Чингиз Хан
Looking at the faces of men and horses,
The shoreless living river, created by my will and
speeding into nowhere across the crimson steppe,I often stop to think:
where is my place in this river?
Chingiz Khan(my translation from Russian, sorry if it sounds idiotic)

Thank you
Wanted, wanted: Dolores Haze.
Hair: brown. Lips: scarlet.
Age: five thousand three hundred days.
Profession: none, or "starlet"
Where are you hiding, Dolores Haze?
Why are you hiding, darling?
(I Talk in a daze, I walk in a maze
I cannot get out, said the starling).
Where are you riding, Dolores Haze?
What make is the magic carpet?
Is a Cream Cougar the present craze?
And where are you parked, my car pet?

Anastasiya
Let me tell you a story...
Some time ago a couple of friends visited me. we drank some(LOTS) of wine and had fun. This resulted in two sets.
One of Vlad(daytime trix@1600 diafine), and one of Anastasia(night time tmax400@1600 tetenal). Both are happy with the results and want more.
the piercing eyes in the third just hit you like a sniper bullet.
I closed a deal on a CLA'd mamiya M645J,sekor 80/2.8,two inserts, non metering prism and grip for half it's price. Even if I dont like it I can always resell it for this price.
Who wants to feed me until the end of the month?

not all men start as equals - but all end up in the same patch of dirt
The pictures were taken within a couple of months, with different cameras within 100 meters of each other. Both men have no names(at least for me - as I dont read the language). One is a brittish\commonwealth WW1 infantry\cavalry enlisted man who came to die here for queen and country and the other a migrant worker(?).
I would appreceate a translation of the tombstone. I also don't recognise the letters - is it chinese?
Since the Rabbinical Council(Who live of our taxes and dont serve in the army) is in charge of births, deaths and weddings - Israel still burries non jews(this definition is antiquted and racist - some people who were prosecuted abroad for being jewish, served in the army and got killed there werent buried appropriately)in another patch, usually in a less then honorable way.

Adi in dark tones
After a couple of days working with the new monitor my observations are:
1)the contrast is decent but not great - worse then my old viewsonic crt
2)the sync. rate is slow
3)the picture changes dramaticly when you change your angle of view
nevertheless it is comfortable and enough for consumer usage.
Another thing I discovered is that plus-x looks like crap in diafine(@400).

the eagle have left the nest
Both leica M3's went to Alexz for further CLA(to Youxin Ye).
The lens is at Sherry Krauters.
I shot a couple of rolls on Tel Aviv today.Bought a 85 filter for the sigma(to heighten contrast).
Film is drying as we speak. The Brita water filter makes it much cleaner.
